Calculation of a stock-index commission

Commission = Index value * Volume * Size of contract * Commission amount

Example of commission calculation:

Let us look at commission calculation for the RTSI stock-index with USD as a deposit currency.

Transaction volume: 1 Lot

Contract size: 100

Commission amount: 0.1%

Index value: 1537.16 USD

Commission = (1537.16 * 1 * 100) * 0.1% = 153.716 USD

In the MetaTrader4 trading terminal commission value is rounded to 2 decimal places, i.e. in the abovementioned example the commission makes 153.72 USD.
