Binary options trade examples with profit calculation

Example 1:

For example let us choose EURUSD currency pair and assume that the euro exchange rate will rise.  We choose a time interval, for instance, 1 hour. I.e. we suppose that in an hour the euro price will be above the current price level. The exact level  the price will reach is not set.

We open a Buy EURUSDbin position  specifying the transaction expiration time to 1 hour in the “Comments” field. The volume of the transaction (de facto cost/value of the option) is to be set in the “Volume” field.  For example 1000 USD.

A trade is opened at the price 1,3621. All the order parameters can be seen in the “Trade” tab, including type of the transaction/order type (Buy), time of the option (1 in the “Comment” field) and volume (1000 in the “Volume” field).

The position is closed automatically at the price 1,3631. Profit calculation is being processed.

Our forecast has proved to be correct, the Euro exchange rate has really gone upwards. Profit makes up 100%.

The “Profit” field shows the refunded collateral for the transaction – 1000 USD - and the profit of 100 USD.

Example 2

For example we suppose that the price for EURUSD will go at least 50 pips down.  We open a Sell EURUSDbin position. After that we set the time of the option, for example 4 hours, and the number of pips the price will change within this time (in this case 50 pips).  In order to do so we type in time and barrier into “Comment” field (4 50).Set the volume of the transaction (1000 USD) in the “Volume” field.

A trade is opened at the price 1,3543.All the order parameters can be seen in the “Trade” tab. The volume of the trade is specified in the relevant field as “1K”, and the time and the barrier are seen in the "Comment” field – “4 50”.Type of the transaction – Sell – is seen in the “Type” field.

The position is closed at the price 1,3492.Our forecast has proved to be correct; the Euro exchange rate has gone 51 pip up. The price measured up to the preset 50 barrier. According to the profit calculation scale the profit in this case makes up 200%.

The “Profit” field shows the refunded collateral for the transaction (transaction volume) and the 200% profit.
